About Psalms
Psalms is a collection gathered over centuries and arranged into five books. It contains almost every posture a person can take before God: adoration, complaint, confession, gratitude, and unvarnished grief. Many are attributed to David, others to Asaph, the sons of Korah and unnamed writers. Because they give words to feeling rather than describing it, the psalms have been the most memorised and most prayed part of Scripture.
