Psalms 61
Open Word Bible
God, hear my loud cry; pay attention to my prayer. From the far edge of the earth I call to you while my heart fails; lead me up onto a rock too high for me to climb. For you have been my shelter, a strong tower to hold off the enemy. Let me live as a guest in your tent for all time; let me find refuge under the cover of your wings. Selah God, you have heard the promises I made; you have granted me the share that belongs to those who honor your name. Add days upon days to the king’s life; may his years go on through generation after generation. May he sit on his throne in God’s presence forever; let loyal love and faithfulness be appointed as his guards. Then I will make music to your name for all time as I keep my vows day after day.
