Psalms 13
Open Word Bible
How long, LORD? Will you go on forgetting me for good? How long will you turn your face away from me? How long must I keep turning plans over in my mind, with grief in my heart all day long? How long will my enemy stand over me in triumph? Turn and look, LORD my God, and answer me! Bring the light back to my eyes, or I will fall asleep in death, and my enemy will say, “I have beaten him,” and those against me will celebrate when I stumble. But I trust in your loyal love; my heart will be glad because you save. I will sing to the LORD, because he has been so generous to me.
