Psalms 123
Open Word Bible
A song of ascents. I raise my eyes to you, the one who reigns in heaven. Servants watch the hand of their master, and a servant woman watches the hand of the woman she serves. In the same way we keep our eyes on the LORD our God, waiting for him to show us favor. Show us favor, LORD, show us favor, for we have swallowed more contempt than we can bear. We have had our fill and more of the mockery of the comfortable and the contempt of the arrogant.
