Psalms 148
Open Word Bible
Praise the LORD! Let the heavens praise the LORD; let the heights above give him praise! Praise him, all his angels! All the armies of heaven, praise him! Sun and moon, praise him! All shining stars, praise him! Praise him, heaven of heavens, along with the waters up above the sky! May they praise the name of the LORD; at his command they came into being. He fixed them in their places for ever and always; he made a law for them that will not pass away. From the earth below, praise the LORD, sea monsters and all the watery deeps, fire and hail, snow and fog, gales of wind that do what he says, the mountains and all the hills, trees that bear fruit and all the cedars, wild beasts and all cattle, creatures that crawl and birds that fly, earthly kings and all peoples, nobles and all the earth’s rulers, young men and young women alike, the old together with the young! Let them all bring praise to the name of the LORD, since his name alone is lifted high; his splendor towers over earth and sky. For his own people he has raised up a horn, a source of praise for all his faithful, the Israelites, a people near to him. Praise the LORD!
