Bible Verses About The Good Shepherd

Yahweh is my shepherd: I shall lack nothing.

I am the good shepherd. I know my own, and I’m known by my own;

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give eternal life to them. They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.

For thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I myself, even I, will search for my sheep, and will seek them out. As a shepherd seeks out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered abroad, so will I seek out my sheep; and I will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.

He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He guides me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

even as the Father knows me, and I know the Father. I lay down my life for the sheep.

I am the door. If anyone enters in by me, he will be saved, and will go in and go out, and will find pasture.

He will feed his flock like a shepherd. He will gather the lambs in his arm, and carry them in his bosom. He will gently lead those who have their young.

For you were going astray like sheep; but now have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

“Which of you men, if you had one hundred sheep, and lost one of them, wouldn’t leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one that was lost, until he found it? When he has found it, he carries it on his shoulders, rejoicing.

Whenever he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.
