About Romans

Romans is Paul’s most systematic letter, written to a church he had not yet met. He argues that all people, Jew and Gentile alike, are under sin and are put right with God through faith in Christ rather than by law-keeping. Chapters five to eight explore life in the Spirit and end in the assurance that nothing can separate us from God’s love; chapters nine to eleven wrestle with Israel, and twelve onward turn to practical living.
