Leviticus
The manual of worship and holiness for Israel at the tabernacle.
About Leviticus
Leviticus reads as instruction rather than story: offerings, priesthood, clean and unclean, festivals, and the Day of Atonement. Its recurring logic is that sin is costly, atonement is provided, and a people who live near God are shaped by that nearness. Chapter nineteen turns the theme outward into everyday ethics, including the command to love your neighbour as yourself that Jesus later places at the centre.
