13 Bible Verses About Pride

When pride arrives, disgrace follows close behind, but the humble have wisdom.

But the grace he gives is greater. That is why it says, “God sets himself against the proud, but to the humble he gives grace.”

The LORD detests all the proud of heart; be sure of it, they will not escape punishment.

By the grace given to me I tell each one of you: do not rate yourself higher than you should. Let your thinking be sober and sensible instead, in keeping with the measure of faith that God has assigned to each of you.
