A psalm of David. LORD, who may stay as a guest in your tent? Who may make a home on your holy mountain? Whoever walks without blame, practices what is right, and speaks truth that comes from the heart,

He keeps sound wisdom in reserve for the upright; he shields those who live with integrity,

Whoever lives with integrity will be kept safe, but anyone who is double-dealing will suddenly fall.

He has told you, mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD ask of you except to do justice, to love loyalty, and to walk humbly with your God?

Whoever lives honestly walks without fear, but the one who takes crooked roads will be exposed.

How blessed is the one who does not walk by the advice of the wicked, or stand on the path that sinners tread, or sit where mockers gather!

The upright are guided by their integrity, but the treacherous are ruined by their own deceit.

How blessed are those whose way of life is without fault, who walk by the instruction of the LORD!

Whoever lives uprightly fears the LORD, but whoever goes crooked ways despises him.

Pay attention to people of integrity, look closely at the upright: those who live in peace have a future ahead of them.

Whoever lives by what is right and speaks honestly, whoever turns down profit squeezed from others, whose hands shake off a bribe instead of grasping it, whose ears are closed to talk of bloodshed, and whose eyes are shut against gazing at evil, that one will make a home on the heights, with fortresses of rock for refuge, with bread supplied and water that never fails.

The righteous live with integrity; how blessed are their children after them!

Righteousness protects the person of integrity, but wickedness brings down the sinner.

But if we walk in the light, just as he is in the light, we share fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, goes on cleansing us from every sin.
