This is God’s will for you: that you be holy. Keep away from sexual immorality. Each of you should know how to keep your own body under control, with holiness and respect,

All of you should treat marriage as precious and keep the marriage bed undefiled; God will judge those who are sexually immoral and those who are unfaithful in marriage.

Or do you not know that your body is a temple where the Holy Spirit lives, the Spirit who is in you and whom God has given you? You do not belong to yourselves. You were bought, and a price was paid for you. So bring glory to God in your body.

May your spring be blessed; find your joy in the woman you married when you were young, a lovely doe, a graceful mountain goat. Let her breasts content you at every season, and let her love carry you away always.

not in lustful passion like the Gentiles, who do not know God.

I am telling you now, as I told you before: people who live this way will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Sexual immorality, impurity of every kind, and greed must not even be spoken of as present among you; that is what suits God’s holy people.

But I tell you, a man who looks at a woman with the aim of wanting her for himself has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
