10 Bible Verses About Walk in Wisdom

So take great care how you live, not as people without wisdom but as people who have it. Make good use of every opportunity, because the days are evil.

If any of you is short of wisdom, ask God, who gives to everyone with an open hand and without scolding, and it will be given to you.

This is where wisdom starts: get wisdom. Spend all you have, if you must, to get understanding.

That is why, from the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will, with all the wisdom and understanding the Spirit gives, so that you may live in a way worthy of the Lord and please him in every way, bearing fruit in every kind of good work and growing in the knowledge of God.

Trust the LORD with your whole heart, and do not rely on your own insight. Keep him in mind in everything you do, and he will clear a straight road ahead of you.

Wisdom starts with the fear of the LORD, and to know the Holy One is understanding.

But the wisdom from above is, first of all, pure. It also makes for peace; it is gentle and willing to yield; it is full of mercy and of good fruits; it plays no favorites, and it is free of pretense.

Teach us, then, to reckon our days rightly, so that our hearts may grow wise.

For it is the LORD who gives wisdom; knowledge and understanding come from his mouth.
