The outsider living among you is to count as one of your own native-born. You are to love them as yourself, since you yourselves were outsiders in the land of Egypt. I am the LORD your God.
Do not oppress a foreigner living among you. You know from the inside what a foreigner’s life is like, since you yourselves were foreigners in the land of Egypt.
You too must love the outsider, since you were outsiders yourselves in the land of Egypt.
Do not forget to open your homes to strangers. By doing this, some people have had angels as their guests and never knew it.

For the assembly there is to be one statute for you and for the outsider who lives with you. It is a lasting statute through all your generations: before the LORD the outsider is to be just as you are. One law and one ruling are to apply to you and to the outsider who lives with you.’”
Do not take advantage of a hired worker who is poor and needy, whether a fellow Israelite or an outsider living in one of the towns of your land.
