11 Bible Verses About Grace Upon Grace

The Word became flesh and made his home among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

The law came in alongside, so that the trespass would multiply. But where sin multiplied, grace overflowed far beyond it,

God is able to make all grace abound for you, so that in every way and at all times you will have everything you need, with plenty to spare for every good work.

But he answered me, “My grace is enough for you, for power comes to its fullness in weakness.” So I will be all the happier to boast of my weaknesses, for then the power of Christ may spread its tent over me.

But the grace he gives is greater. That is why it says, “God sets himself against the proud, but to the humble he gives grace.”

In him and through his blood we have redemption, the forgiveness of our wrongdoing. We have it because God’s grace is so rich,

so that through the ages still to come he might put on display the wealth of his grace, which surpasses all measure, seen in the kindness he has shown us in Christ Jesus.

And after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore you, make you firm and strong, and set you on a sure foundation.

For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all people.
