The Gospel & Grace

The gospel is sheer grace — God’s unearned favor lavished on sinners through Jesus Christ. By grace you have been saved through faith; it is the gift of God. These verses ground you in good news that is bigger than your failures.

The Gospel — Romans 1:16

For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Christ, for it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes; for the Jew first, and also for the Greek.

The Free Gift — Romans 6:23

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Saved by Grace — Titus 3:5

not by works of righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,

Grace and Works — Ephesians 2:9
