One and the same Spirit is at work in all of these, giving to each person separately as he chooses.

We have gifts that differ, according to the grace given to us. If someone’s gift is prophecy, they should prophesy in proportion to their faith.

Through the Spirit one person is given a message of wisdom; another, by the same Spirit, a message of knowledge; another, by the same Spirit, faith; another, by the one Spirit, gifts of healing; another, the power to work miracles; another, prophecy; another, the ability to tell spirits apart; another, different kinds of tongues; and another, the interpretation of tongues.

It was he who gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some shepherds and teachers. He gave them to equip God’s holy people for the work of serving, so that the body of Christ would be built up,

In the church God has placed some people: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers. After them come miracles, then gifts of healing, the ability to help, the ability to guide, and different kinds of tongues.

Each of you has received a gift; use it to serve one another, as good managers of the richly varied grace of God.
