What Philippians 4:13 means
This famous line is often quoted for achievement, but its context is contentment. Paul has just said he has learned to be content whether well-fed or hungry, with much or with little. “All things” means every circumstance — he can face any of them because Christ supplies the strength.
So the verse is less about winning and more about enduring: the strength to be faithful and at peace in whatever situation you’re in. Memorised rightly, it steadies you in lack as much as in plenty.
