Trials, Suffering & Healing
In a broken world, God’s people are not spared trials — but they are never alone in them. He is near to the brokenhearted, works good through suffering, and is the healer of body and soul. These verses bring comfort and hope into pain.
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which will be revealed toward us.
Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.
For our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory;
