It is by that will that we have been made holy, through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ, made once for all.

Let love guide the way you live, as Christ loved us and handed himself over for our sake, an offering and sacrifice to God, a fragrance that pleased him.

But Jesus we do see. For a little while he was placed lower than the angels, and because of the death he suffered he has been crowned with glory and honor, so that apart from God he should taste death on behalf of everyone.

That is why Jesus, too, suffered outside the gate: so that by his own blood he might make the people holy.
