Exodus
Israel’s rescue from slavery in Egypt, and the covenant given at Sinai.
About Exodus
Exodus tells how a family became a nation. Israel is enslaved in Egypt, God raises up Moses, and after the plagues and the Passover the people walk out through the sea. The second half is what happens next: a covenant at Sinai, the Ten Commandments, and detailed instructions for the tabernacle. The question running through it is how a holy God can live in the middle of an ordinary people.
