Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

What Matthew 6:33 means
Jesus has just told an anxious crowd to stop worrying about food and clothing. The cure for that worry is a reordered life: put God’s kingdom and his kind of righteousness first, and trust him with the rest.
“All these things” refers back to daily needs. The promise is not prosperity but provision — that a Father who feeds the birds will care for children who seek him first. Memorising it helps reset priorities when life feels driven by worry.
