We were made to worship — to give God the glory due his name with our whole hearts. Praise lifts our eyes from ourselves to the greatness and goodness of the Lord. These verses tune your heart to adore him.
Come through his gates giving thanks, into his courtyards with praise; thank him and bless his name.
Come, let us bow down to the ground and bend low; let us kneel in front of the LORD, the one who made us.
So, as people who are being given a kingdom that nothing can shake, let us hold on to gratitude, and through it serve God in a way that pleases him, with reverence and awe.
