Bible Verses About The Names & Attributes of God
God reveals himself through his names and attributes — the LORD who provides, the I AM, the Rock, the unchanging One. Each name is a place to stand and a truth to trust. These verses help you know God as he has made himself known.
Abraham named that place “The LORD Will See to It.” That is why people still say today, “On the mountain of the LORD it will be seen to.”
God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And he said, “Tell the Israelites this: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”
Now this is the message we heard from him and are declaring to you: God is light, and in him there is no darkness, not the least.
The LORD is my cliff, my stronghold, the one who sets me free; my God is my rock, and I shelter in him. He is my shield, my strong salvation, my tower on the heights.
