If you truly carry out the royal law as Scripture puts it, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you do well.
Each of us should please our neighbor, aiming at what is good for them and what builds them up.
Now which of these three, in your view, proved to be a neighbor to the man the robbers attacked?” He answered, “The one who was merciful to him.” Jesus told him, “You go, then, and do the same.”
So in everything, treat others the way you would want them to treat you, for this is what the law and the prophets are about.
