13 Bible Verses About A Place Prepared

There are many dwelling places in my Father’s house. Otherwise I would have told you, for I am going to prepare a place for you.

But as things are, they are reaching out for something better: a homeland in heaven. So God does not count it a shame to be known as their God, and he has made a city ready for them.

There is no city here that remains for us; the city we are looking for is the one still to come.

Then I heard a loud voice from the throne: “See, God’s dwelling is with human beings! He will make his home with them, and they will be his peoples; God himself will be with them.

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God, and believe in me as well.

For we know that if the tent we live in here on earth is taken down, we have a building from God, a house that no human hands have made, eternal, in heaven.

But we hold our citizenship in heaven, and it is from there that we are eagerly waiting for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,

And the holy city, the new Jerusalem, I saw descending out of heaven from God, ready like a bride who has adorned herself for her husband.

Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, this very day you will be with me in paradise.”

For he was waiting for the city with firm foundations, a city planned and built by God.

and into an inheritance that can never decay, never be stained, and never wither. That inheritance is kept safe in heaven for you,

You have been raised with Christ, then. So seek what is above, where Christ sits at the right hand of God. Fix your thoughts on what is above, not on what is on earth.
