Malachi 4

Open Word Bible

For see, the day is coming, blazing like a furnace, when all the arrogant and all evildoers will be stubble. The day that is coming will set them on fire, says the LORD of Armies, and leave them neither root nor branch. But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise, bringing healing in its wings. You will go out leaping like calves let out of the stall. You will trample on the wicked; they will be ashes beneath your feet on the day when I act, says the LORD of Armies.

Remember the law of my servant Moses, the statutes and rulings I commanded him at Horeb for all Israel. See, I am sending you Elijah the prophet before the day of the LORD comes, that great and terrible day. He will turn the hearts of fathers to their children and the hearts of children to their fathers, so that I will not come and strike the land with total destruction.
