In all you do, avoid complaining and quarreling, so that no one can fault you and you stay pure, God’s children without blemish in the midst of a crooked and distorted generation. Among these people you shine like stars in the world
They muttered in their tents and would not heed the voice of the LORD.

All the Israelites grumbled against Moses and Aaron, and the whole congregation said to them, “We wish we had died in the land of Egypt, or else died here in this wilderness!
They said to Moses, “Did Egypt have no graves, that you had to bring us out here to die in the wilderness? What a thing to do to us, leading us out of Egypt!
What happened to them was meant as an example, and it was written down to warn us, who live at the time when the ages reach their end.
