Song of Solomon
A series of love poems between a bride and her beloved.
About Song of Solomon
The Song of Solomon is poetry of courtship and married love, exchanged between two voices with a chorus of daughters of Jerusalem. Its imagery is drawn from gardens, vineyards, spices and the countryside. Jewish and Christian readers have long read it both as a celebration of human love and as a picture of the love between God and his people; the text itself sustains the first reading plainly.
